New Viagra Cream to bolster ED market

In a recent development, a new Viagra cream could be away from a market launch as soon as 3 years from now.

Using Nanotechnology,a group of researchers at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Yeshiva University,New York found a way to encapsulate particles of the Viagra drug inside the nanoparticles.Each nanoparticle is smaller than a pollen grain.Each of these Viagra infested nanoparticles were then given to a group of healthy rats to test its effectiveness.Almost all the rats given the Viagra nanoparticles showed an immediate effect compared to zero for the ones given nanoparticles infested with no viagra drug.

Dr Kevin Davies who is heading the research said "The response time to the nanoparticles infested with Viagra particles was very short, just a few minutes, which is basically what people want in an erectile dysfunction medication like Viagra.In both rats and humans, it can take 30 minutes to one hour for oral erectile dysfunction medications to take effect"

Clinical trials on humans for this new Viagra cream could begin as early as next year, but given the various stages of trials and safety tests needed, it wouldnt be atleast 3 or 4 years before it is commercially launched.However for the million of Viagra users around the world it clearly spells a much needed side effect free solution for their impotency needs.
